Keechi is already following in her mother's footsteps. She attended her first show in Stevensen, Washington, and did very well. We are very proud of her. At the ABGA Red White and Boer Show ( on Saturday July 1- under Eddie Holland ) she took 4th. Then on Sunday-July 2 under Beau Shilling she was placed 2nd and returned to the ring to take JR RESERVE CHAMPION.

This all took place only because of the generosity of my good friend Julie Davis of Clear Creek Farm. She graciously made room for me and Keechi to travel with her and her daughter Melissa to the show-Thank You Julie from the bottom of my heart.

lo-Lo was the only one of triplets we were able to save , and then her mother died the next day. She slept in a box beside my bed for a week. Of course we bottle fed her and my husband took her to work with him and a good friend baby sat her also. When we were sure she was going to be OK we sat up a Temp Pen in the barn so she wouldn't be alone. Then I took a little doeling from a doe that had triplets and put in her pen so she would have company. They are only a few days apart , so it worked out just fine. Now they are sisters of the heart if not by blood.. They certanly do everything together. Her " sister " is the Full Blooded doe named " Weona ". They don't know they're not sisters and we don't tell them either, they love each other and that's all that matters.
Netane was born February 22, 2006 and is a Saanan and Boer cross. . She is very affectionate. She is 2 teated with a perfect mouth and a stong topline and is a large framed doe. We think she will be a great asset to our herd.
Natane has learned a valuable skill, she is busy teaching the younger girls how to unlock the barn! If she weren't so darn cute and sweet----!
