SUGAR

Sugar is an Anatolian Shepherd . She is our "Livestock Guardian Dog." Sugar came from a Breeder in Washington State. She lives with our goats and takes good care of them. I think she loves the babies best. She always stays near the does when ever they are due to kid, so she can help clean them up and love them too. She has more than paid for herself by protecting the goats and chickens from Racoons, Coyotes, and stray dogs. They never get very far if they find their way beyond the fence. At the same time she is as gentle as can be with us and our grand children, and any other people we take back into the goat yard. She has trained our Border Collie "Jenny" how to work with .with her. She is one of our most valuble farm assets.

Here are Sugars Parents, Maggie, and Scout of "The Coyote Canyon Conservitory" in Snohomish, Washington.

JENNY

This is our Jenny. She is a Border Collie. She is Sugar's helper. She came all the way from Palmer, Alaska to be with us. She has a very sweet temperment - so long as your not a stange dog threatning her herd. She also keeps the kids away from the electric fence ( most of the time, like all kids sometimes they just don't listen. Then experience is the best teacher !)
